Glassy Gap

A central stair creates a crystal spine bisecting three gable forms and opening expansive views to the valley beyond.  This glassy gap creates a dramatic procession into the space that culminates with perfect alignment to the iconic Snowmass ski resort.   The gable forms are tucked into the hillside and create four distinct programmatic levels; rec room, great room, master suite and bunkhouse.  Scandinavian design influences the building structure and material selection throughout the project. The understated form and massing of this style resonate well with the natural Aspen wildland surrounding the site.
